Terms and Conditions
Bookings
The placement of any booking, whether by electronic means or otherwise, shall be deemed to be confirmation that the terms and conditions have been read and the agent/guest agrees to be bound by the terms.
- Provisional bookings can be held for a two-week period on our own camps, but we may not be able to hold spaces with third party properties.A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a provisional booking.Once a booking is confirmed, you will be sent a booking confirmation form. This needs to be completed in full within 4 weeks of receipt, with all guest passport information details and any other necessary requirements. The staff and guides will need this information and work from this form to ensure both that we comply with local regulations and ensure that each guest is looked after to the best of their ability. Should any detail on the form change before the guest starts their tour with An African Canvas , it is the agent/guest’s responsibility to provide updated information as soon as possible. For confirmed bookings, the balance of payment is required 45 days prior to travel. If a booking takes place within the 45 day period, the full amount is payable to confirm the booking. All bookings are subject to the cancellation policy. While every effort is made to deliver an itinerary exactly as scheduled, the nature of operating in countries with relatively immature tourism infrastructure requires us to need some flexibility on itineraries. We will communicate any schedule changes with you as soon as possible. If a third party supplier is unable to honour the itinerary, we will take all steps to offer an equivalent alternative activity.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is the agent/guest’s responsibility to arrange international travel, any visas required and travel insurance, unless specifically stated in writing.
